Visit to Cemetery @ sime road!

we set of at almost 8PM from out temple~aft reaching u will noe wad is call DARK!

but earlier we got an advance party go there prepare some "kim zhua" but there r slow =x Lol

and we when deep into the cemetery~ its read dark in there~ we have to offer them candle and joss stick for every tomb stone we see muz have 1 set!

the feeling there is like.. how do i say the way~ its like it will remind u of "some day we ourselve will die also~

AND THERE IS LOADS OF INSECT!! u name it there all have -_-' ' '

nv being this close to loads of tomb stone b4~ i only can say i did wad i can~ i dare to say i when down a slope tat even we have alot of ppl no body dare to go down de DARK DARK slope~ in my team there is me my sis and guan yi(pretty jie jie)=x

we when down the slope and keep on saying "sorry to disturb we r here to offer u things" and we when down all the way~ which there is lots of fallen tombstone! cant even see if u r walking~ as we get deeper and deeper~ we only can see with the candle light we use to offer~ but still there is lots of tomb in those WULU WULU de corner just keep going down down down and down~ till 9.40 we start to head back to where we started~ cos we gonna start a ritual to offer those beings some food(will come back to this)

as we walk back we can see no 1 in the way all go back liao~ its like only 3 of us walking nia~ honestly its scary! we can only see with the light on our hand and those on the road side which we offer to them.

but we manage to get back~

Lama and the anilaS and some auntie uncle was on a lorry~ going around the whole cemetery to chant and gather all those being back to where we gather.

Lama told us they r all around us~ the whole place full of them~ and ask us not to say gossip.. cos those being also Human in the past and they also like to listen to gossip.. if u tok gossip if they follow u home~ u HO SEH liao~

9.50 we reach the gathering place and sit down~ fold paper incease(KIM ZHUA)

and aft tat we have to make "toh mo" (dont noe how to spell) its a food offering to those beings~ Lama told us to make it small like green bean like tat small while we rolling it on our finger we have to chant. to make those offering for them to eat~

Lama say those being r very Ke lian

they r unlike wad we think. some with very thin leg and hand
some with LONG neck which thier neck have a few knot on them.
most important is they have small mouth

and normal food we offer to them they cant eat either the food turn into flame burn thier mouth or turn into shit(this is wad lama say)

tats y we roll the "toh ma' into small small

and tat lama ask us to collect all the toh ma and start to offer. Lama ask us to repeat wad he said and we start our chanting~ and pour milk and water into the toh ma bowl..

aft we offered.. Lama teach us 1 easy dharma pratise call "sky gazing". he say its guru rinpoche use to teach de. if i m not wrong the meaning i can hardly hear it~

we gaze gaze gaze gaze gaze chant chant chant chant chant~~

den its time to burn all those paper incease~ lama started the fire~ small fired~ and he wave 1 bamboo shoot think very long~ with a banner thing alike thing on it.

den he put it into the small fire! with out the banner thing even touch the fire within like less den 2 sec the banner thing give out smoke!!! wah!!! see liao i was thinking~ eh haven caught fire y got smoke? abit shock =x and lama ask them to spread the fire~ aft tat we burn burn burn~~ throw some gold and sliver coin in~ and shout HUAT AR!! ~~

aft tat some time lama approch me~ he ask me just now got see the banner like flag thing once he put in got smoke come out rite~ i say ya saw it.. he told me~ ya those beings rushing over to take thier money!

scary hor? LoL its a nice experiance for us to visit cemetery to remind us~ some day we will also die~ if we dont have enuff dharma pratise we maybe will end up like those being..

its about 11+ we finish and Lama suggest go ADAM ROAD to have our dinner/supper when there eat with alot of kor kor jie jie uncle auntie~~ den its about 1am we leave tat place~

aft the visit i told myself. i m lucky to meet a great Guru. feel so lucky! he is just like my spritual father. teach me things i dont noe lead me to a better way to live~ teach me how to b a more happier person~

wad i understand for being happy. its all comes within ur heart~ its how u think~ accepting and adapting its all u need.

abit hard rite? =x Lol i also trying to learn~ but some times its really goes with the flow~ or can say happy go lucky~ =x haha tats my theory~ =x haha

goin to visit cemetery~ org by TCCL~ gonna go there early to help setup~ staying there from 3pm~~~ about 12am~ last day for hao xiong di to gather all the things they need~ so gonna go there offer them things~ show our kindness and let them end thier holiday with a load of things~ hopefully they wont disturb us bah~ and bless us with~ lots of $$$$$$$ Lol~ ^^

ytd sleep at 6am burn some songs for my sis~ wake up at 5pm~ nice sleep~ feel good~ but still abit tired when i wake up~~

aft the chanting session when for dinner with adam and gang~ aft tat when back temple slack tok cock with hui bing jie and daryl ah jie~~ LoL till 1+ my sis drive me and allan da ge back~

sleep for 2hr+ wake up at 6am~ do water bowl offering to buddha~ and when to temple~ do DA LI PAI with Lama and anilas and shi niang and hui jun jie lai wan jie hui bing jie and sook fun jie~ and of cos my jie~

aft tat when for veg breakfast with Lama, shi niang, hui bing, hui jun,lai wan and sook fun JIES, den go visited another temple~ for some referance =x haha..
aft tat Lama drive us back to temple~ btw LAMA share with me his VEG laksa! its nice~ just like real LAKSA!! and + it have lots of blessing~~

den i help anila to set up things~ and set up the chairs for ppl to come chanting~

den at about 11 i take bus back to my house here~ go market buy things to offer to buddha and my ansestor(think i spell wrongly)

reach home at 12pm~ do the offering~ this and tat~~ bath~~~ den sleep at 1+~ till 5pm my sis call~ and say she gimme a ride to temple today~ wake up~ wash up bath change~ go down~~ and reach temple at about 5.45~ so early~ not even starting~ den gyen nga wang came out~ i disturb him ask him go eat chicken rice~ LoL his fav food haha~

looking back time fly past so fast~

when 1st my sis intro me to TCCL thekchen choling, its was about 2006 sept~ well i dont go down often cos its dam dam far from my place~ bukit timah~ hard to travel down there~ but it was still fun over there~ when i met lama, he look so serious and with his long hair~ look so XIONG.. LoL~ den i when to sport day on monday play some bball meet lama more often le~ always go eat dinner/supper with him~ he is actually a fun and loving guy. he do teach us daily life useful thing~~ and things we dont noe~ joke abit~ and he is really fun to b with~ haha~ and temple move over to lavender~ got to go temple more often le~ ez-er to travel to~ and lots of food over there~ and my sis got car liao drive me there~

i rmb we move over to lavender at about may 2007 cos i was there to help out 2~ well the youth there is fun~ and quite frenly for some~ and ez to hang out with(maybe i too frenly) LoL.. and now i took refuge~ and alot uncle auntie there~ kor kor jie jie there~ basicailly is like a 1 big big family bah~ just some time ppl have problem with other ppl~ small small thing nia la~ but they take it too deep bah..

learning dharma can b fun and enjoyable~ and wad the teaching is about~ its more to the basic of 1 self. need to do thing to benefit all being~ no matter dead being living being~ visiable or non visiable~ small or big~ cat or dog~ everything~

well,dharma is the very basic of how 1 self is from the start~ but we lost ourself to the delusion of samsara, tats y there is greed, anger, jealousy, ignorance, attachment~ if we learn to let go abit abit~ sometime u can feel "Eh! not so bad leh~" i m doing good deed and also gaining merit~ well the merit we gain is a nv ending merit~

and practising dharma will help us to gain good karma and slowly long enuff will help us to drive aways the bad karma we did~ well not totally all~ but it will not b as much as wad we did lor~~

like killing an ANT! is also generating bad karma~ so dharma help us to drive away some bad karma which can b driven away~ which mean if u do real real bad thing u have to face the karma u did~ and so u noe u have to face it dont do bad thing~ so wont generate bad karma for u and ur future life~

aug 3 sunday nite
aft getting guan ding from rinpoche~ when for dinner~ and bring daryl and cammie to ask lama for taking refuge~ he agree~ and he say tml wake up come temple take refuge~ and my sis bought us doti and buray. $35 1 set~ cool man~ $105~~ haha.. aft tat send cammie home~ den her mum start to nag nag nag nag nag nag nag scold scold scold scold scold scold scold~~ den she pack her things and stay over at my place~ well of cos a gentleman like me~ offer my bed to her~ and i sleep on the floor~! about 3+ when in my room~ and abit not use to sleep on the floor turn here and there~ at about 5am fall asleep~

aug 4 monday
den 6.45 cammie dont noe y her alarm set so early! we are supose to wake up at 8! she set 6.45!! den wake up liao~ every 5min her alarm ring 1 time~ den cant sleep~ daryl also call and sms~ cant sleep~ den drag till 8 wake up~ i go wash up~ and wait for daryl to come and the slowpoke cammie to do her make up~ is dam long de lor.. manage to get out of my house at 10.25 to go buy thing to offer to lama~ bought lama's fav instant noodle~ chicken tan men from myojo~ hello panda~ honey~ chocolate~ tea bag~ milk~ some basic thing to offer~ and bought flowers~ den rain~! take cab there~ and ask aniLa to help us arrange those item into something like a mandala. and fruit&light offering~ and we dont noe~ wear out doti and buray take the things and chiong in find lama~ and den found out~ haha mistake~ but its okay haha~ den we wait for lama to change and give us refuge and dharma name.

and my dharma name is Namdrol Sangye (sangye means buddha/buddhahood). cammie's dharma name is Namdrol Drolma(Drolma means goddess/Tara) and for daryl his name is Namdrol ngawang~ same as gyen ngawang~~(ngawang means powerfull speech!) well no wonder he talk so loud when he is on the phone!! Lol

the meaning we seek one of the english translating rinpoche(lama's shi xiong) to translate the meaning for us~ haha~ well all the rinpoche is cute also~ and aft tat we stick around awhile ask lama's permission to give gyen ngawang off day~ cos monday is his off day but rinpoche is here no OFF!! and lama allow~ so bring him out buy a bag! he need to use when he go for english lesson~ and pants~ belt~ and some underwear la~~ when for lunch~ and its a poor thing tat he cant catch a movie~ he love watching movie~ haha~ well he is very easy going person~ aft tat i tio pang seh~ cammie and daryl meet hui bing jie~ and they PS me!! so i bring gyen nga wang back to temple~ haha~ its a good thing i go back temple early~! i saw lama sweeping floor!!! and i go over help him! he ask( where the 2 other gua?) i say they wait for hui bing) den lama face like!! ~.~ LoL~ help branyt do some skirting for table stock up incease and kim zhua~ and help lama do some clearing~

aft tat i was all alone! T_T stay at kitchen behind there wait for time to pass~~ talk to uncle auntie~~ den wen hao came~ jio him go drink coffee~~ den found out cammie daryl huibing jie PS me again go eat and drink without me~ 2x PS!! du lan de lor~ den me and wen hao go the coffee shop beside our temple drink drink saw lama and the rest eating there~ (cammie they all at lavender food court~) and watch tv and wait for time pass~ go back temple dress up for teaching~)

alot have gone thru my mind~ putting down things is a good way to let go of my feeling! which is letting go of attachment(1 of the thing muz do to train ur mind)

aug 5 tues
sleep till about 2 wake up~ wanna study~ den sit infront of com dont have the feeling liao~ 3+ go eat lunch~ and aft tat go home~~ my bro reach home at 5+ he told me dad is back in SG~(cos he and mum qurreal and he put mum alone in Msia to run the store!!)

poor mum!! well if they can talk it out nicely from the start it wont happen!

dad also la! scold mum so much! and nv really think with his brain!! well basicailly he dont have 1 i think! Lol~

when dinner with dad and bro~ den go home wait for sis to drive me to teaching! she is late! so i also late lor!! reach temple about 8.20+ den teaching start at 7.30! when i reach i when to the left side wear doti and buray~ den just put my bag down take thing sad cammie walk in go right side change also LoL~ is like 30 sec different!

den go in sit down~ saaw jing wei~ dam long nv see him come temple liao~! and aft teaching! got guru puja~~ and sit there chant chant chant~~ till the end~ got sushi eat~ every 1 go behind eat~ haha~ even lama go~ we eat eat eat~ and lama feed me 1 sushi with loads of wasabi~ haha well its nice~ lama feeding its a blessing!! and den cammie also put lot of wasabi on it and feed me~ aft tat my turn! feed her she run here run there~ and she dont let lama eat sushi~ cos lama cant eat too much late liao muz eat medi sleep~ haha den lama behind me poke poke me~ tell me softly~(feed me the egg de sushi) loL feed lama liao den he go sleep le~ den cammie run here and there dont let me feed~ den i found JOHN!! he ate the sushi~ he love wasabi~ Lol den hang out awhile go home~

aug 6

well wake up at 3 ate lunch~ watch HOT SHOT! not bad~ the show~ and slack at home~ study~ abit abit~~ dint go teaching today~ cos later got test la~!! the science la!! dam it~ waste time =x Lol update soon~~

ty for reading! next time maybe i post some useful daily life dharma pratise for u guys to do abit dharma pratise~ its easy! just help benifit other being~ and NV kill any living being~ e.g. Ants, ka zhua~ LoL its also a form of good deed~ to gain merit~ do more good deed~ and come listen to teaching~~ help out the temple~ haha~ u dont pratise for urself~ u r doing it for others too~ cos u can apply wad u learn on ur daily life! ^^ good luck~
